You are doing the right things. Your body still is not responding.

When fatigue, digestion, hormones, recovery, or body composition refuse to move, another isolated protocol is rarely the answer. Aegis looks at the full pattern, identifies what may be limiting progress, and builds the next step around your actual response.

Sound familiar?

The sentences we hear most in the first call.

“I’ve tried everything.”
“My labs say I’m normal, but I don’t feel normal.”
“I eat well and exercise, but my body is still fighting me.”
“Every time I solve one problem, another appears.”
“Nobody seems to be looking at the whole picture.”
“I know something is off.”
Why generic solutions fail

Symptoms treated one at a time. Foundations never looked at.

Most clients arrive with a history of protocols. None started with them.
Most clients arrive with a history of protocols. None started with them.

Most of our Health Optimization clients arrive with a history of protocols: an elimination diet, a supplement stack, a training program, a macro prescription, sometimes a medication. Each addressed one thing. None started by understanding the person.

When the body isn’t responding, the reflex is to add intervention. Remove more foods. Add more supplements. Train harder. The Aegis position is the opposite: understand first, and add nothing until there’s a reason for it.

Normal, in a lab report, means you aren’t being flagged. It doesn’t mean your body is working well. We read results against how you feel, what has changed, and what the rest of the picture is telling us.

How Aegis evaluates the client

Every system, not one symptom.

The intake is detailed because the body is. This is what your coach looks at before a single recommendation is made.

History

Medical history, medications, supplements, previous coaching, previous protocols, and what each one did or didn’t change.

Digestion and nutrition

Diet history, tolerance, food preferences, digestion, and what has already been removed, often unnecessarily.

Sleep, stress, recovery

The recovery mechanisms the body already depends on, and whether anything is being asked to replace them.

Bloodwork and symptoms

Labs read in context, alongside energy, symptoms, and response to training. Range is a floor, not a goal.

Address the foundation before adding unnecessary intervention.

How coaching works

A weekly loop, not a one-off protocol.

  1. Week 0Intake and first conversation

A detailed onboarding survey and a first call with your coach. Bring your labs, your history, and everything you’ve already tried.

  2. Weeks 1–4Foundation first

Nutrition, sleep, stress, and digestion addressed before anything is added. Often this means putting foods back, not taking more away.

  3. Every weekCheck-in and video reply

Energy, sleep, digestion, symptoms, adherence, wins and challenges. Your coach responds with a video explaining what they see, what’s changing, and why.

  4. As neededAdjust, and involve a clinician when appropriate

Where labs or a licensed provider are warranted, your coach says so. Clients can choose Novus MD, and with consent, coach and physician can work together.

  5. When the foundation holdsPursue the next goal

Health Optimization can be the destination, or a bridge into Lifestyle or Athletics coaching once the body is responding again.

Medical collaboration

Coaching and medicine, appropriately separate. Working together when it helps.

With consent, your clinician and your coach see the same picture.
With consent, your clinician and your coach see the same picture.

Aegis coaching is not medical care, and we don’t blur the line. Your coach reviews your information within coaching scope, helps you understand it, and recommends conversations or labs with a physician where appropriate.

When a licensed provider is needed, clients may choose to access care through Novus MD, a strategic partner that understands the human-performance side of healthcare. With your consent, your Novus clinician and your Aegis coach can collaborate on the same picture. Medical decisions are always made by licensed clinicians.

Normal isn’t necessarily optimal.

Range is where a problem stops being flagged, not where a body starts working well.

Questions

Before you book.

Is this medical treatment?

No. Aegis coaches nutrition, training, supplementation, and recovery, and helps you understand your health information. When something needs a licensed clinician, your coach says so, and Novus MD is one place clients can turn.

Do I need bloodwork to start?

Not necessarily. Bring what you have. Your coach will tell you what would be useful and, where appropriate, recommend the conversation with a physician.

How long until I feel a difference?

Honestly, it depends what’s underneath. Many clients notice energy and digestion change within weeks. Body composition and longer-standing issues take the time they take. We won’t promise a timeline we can’t keep.

What does it cost?

Health Optimization coaching starts at $400 a month with a standard coach and $500+ with a senior coach. Each coach’s price is on their page.

Can I move into Athletics or Lifestyle later?

Yes, and many clients do. Health Optimization can be the destination or the bridge. Your coach will tell you when the foundation is ready.
